Went to Walnut Creek for a work trip, and man oh man, I missed Sioux Falls more than anything. I had high expectations but was disappointed. The weather there was great, though.
Now let's jump into this week's issue. But first, a BIG congratulations to Anne Ausdemore, Ashley Honeycutt, and Elizabeth O'Connell, who are our Alchemy House Giveaway winners!! Reply to this email to redeem, y'all. If not claimed, then we redraw next week.
Enjoy this issue. I'll see some of you tonight at the Dinner Club afterparty.

[ The Falls Report]
THE SKY - After a weekend of highs topping 100 degrees, today is not much better at 93. The UV index is very high today, so make sure you wear sunscreen even if you are going out for a bit.
SUNSET - Catch the SD sunset at 8:53pm tonight. Tomorrow, there will be a full moon!
AT THE FALLS - The 12th Annual Taste the Goodness Event is happening this weekend, August 1st! Enjoy a variety of food, wine, craft beer, and bourbon, with plenty of non-alcoholic options too. Enjoy outdoor music, games, and silent auctions to benefit the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.
AROUND TOWN - Whether you are a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, or someone who just loves reading, you are not going to want to miss this huge week-long book sale. At just $7.00 to fill a bag, you can stock up while helping the tuition assistance fund!
SPOTTED - The Zest Social House opened in late June at 8220 W 12th St, and it is becoming one of the hottest hang out spots in town. They keep it simple and lowkey, with locally sourced ingredients, and prices that are super affordable.
CREW SPOTLIGHT - One thing I love about Sioux Falls that I think people overlook is how genuinely friendly everyone is. I’ve been coming here for years, and no matter how much the city grows, people still smile, strike up conversations, and make you feel welcome. It has the amenities of a larger city but still feels like a close-knit community, and that’s something that’s becoming harder to find. — Ricki

🏰 The Quinn Estate — A Murder Mystery at Minervas
Eleanor Quinn is dead. Poisoned, slowly, over months, in her own home. She knew it was happening, and before she died, she built a will designed to catch the person responsible.
I've been hired to read that will aloud, in front of everyone she named in it, on September 12th at Minerva's. Thirty guests. Thirty gifts. Every gift engraved with a message only the killer will understand as an accusation.
She wrote it herself: "Every gift I leave was a message. Some of them were kindness. Some of them were accusations. I leave it to the room to determine which was which."
You'll receive a character before the night, a name, a past, a secret.
$125 per guest gets you the full evening, a three-course dinner, and a character built for this story. 18 and up. Only 30 seats.
If you know you're in, don't wait. Reserve your seat now.

They grow seasonal cut flowers into fresh bouquets, arrangements, subscriptions, and hands-on workshops, connecting people with locally grown beauty and creating lasting happy memories around every stem harvested right on the farm.
