Good Morning Sioux Falls Crew,
Tis getting closer...that is, the day to go Trick or Treating with your little nuggets.
This issue has everything you need to know to plan your weekend, from parties to great family fun events.
And before we dive into it, I just want to say Thank You to all who participated in the Trivia last week. The answer to the question was Monks!
I met with Al, Kobi and Megan last week and handed them their gift cards. Twas a delight.
This coming Saturday is Emma's Birthday :)) She does a wonderful job with the newsletter so if you'd love to send her a coffee tip, you can go here
Now let's get into it. In Today's Expose:
Tidal, Take It Away!

Trivia!
⁉️Which U.S. president visited Sioux Falls in 1903 and gave a speech downtown?
Tidal Tales:
My friends, this week I heard some bad news. I was strolling through the west side of town, trying to get into trouble when I found out that one of my favorite coffee shops will be closing their doors November 2nd.
It brought me sadness because it was one of the shops on the west side Godwin sat before he started dreaming up the newsletter. It was one of the places he brought friends to hangout because he loved the Delicious Cinnamon coffee cake. And now, it's about to close.
Usually, I get into trouble but this past week I was brought to sadness as I will miss one of my favorite places to hangout.
If you haven't yet driven by Dunn's Brothers, be sure to stop by this week, say farewell, and get something delicious for yourself.
The west side will miss the presence of Dunn Brothers, but if you really get a craving (I know I will), travel over to their other location on East Arrowhead Parkway.

Cliff Avenue Green House: Rooted in hard work, blooming with passion.
Two locations. Two Sisters, and One common passion for growth, and new beginnings.
Over 50 years ago, Richard "Dick" and Jane Bills had a vision to supply their community with the freshest, most delicious tomatoes right out of their driveway, and it was that very idea that sprouted into a passion, that has now blossomed into the most successful greenhouse in the Sioux Falls area.
Welcome to the Cliff Avenue Greenhouse, a place where style unfolds, and your creativity has the opportunity to become full bloom. We stopped by the greenhouse to get a closer look into what makes this space a special part of the Sioux Falls community, or more importantly, who.
Hayley Ziegler and Heidi Teal inherited the passion for cultivation from their parents, Dick and Jane, at a young age. How many teenagers do you know that prune for their daily chores?
And these sisters are not scared of hard work, or a little challenge. To this day, the two Cliff Avenue Greenhouse locations grow 95% of all of their plants, in house - that is over 180,000 plants that are hand planted (absolutely no machinery used), every spring!
That means, when you walk into the greenhouse looking to stock up on your houseplants, or pick out a special gift, Cliff Ave. plants have already had countless hours of love poured into them from right here in Sioux Falls.

For Hayley and Heidi, everything comes back to capturing beautiful beginnings. "We just love it, we love seeing people smile when they come in, because it has become their happy place, just like it's our happy place." - Hayley Ziegler
The sisters opened Janie B's, a trendy - women's fashion boutique located in the inside of the greenhouse, as a way to show tribute to the matron of Cliff Ave, Jane Bills while offering a one of a kind, handpicked and inspired wardrobe.
The greenhouse has made many upgrades and improvements over the years (like a brand-new mural featured in their nursery!), but at check out, you are still greeted with a smile and the cash register from the original opening of the 26th street store in the 1980's! If that doesn't capture the charm of Cliff Avenue Greenhouse, I don't know what does.
Remaining true to the hard-working roots the greenhouse was founded on is important to the team. Along with pruning, the greenhouse does all inventory, and pricing by hand, which is truly impressive for an operation of its size!
Cliff Avenue Greenhouse has some amazing fall events approaching in the next couple of weeks! The first being the, Fashion and Foliage Show. A night to showcase the new fall looks coming into Janie B's and spark fresh inspiration for your home decor. So mark your calendars, grab your friends, and meet me there!
