THE SKY — It is hot, hot, hot out there. Sunny and 90 degrees today, and you can anticipate high 80s paired with rain for the rest of the week.
SUNSET — 9:12pm tonight, holding steady at 9:11 to 9:12 all week. The days are starting their slow retreat from the solstice, but you would never know it yet.
AT THE FALLS — The new overlook construction is still going strong in the hot summer heat.
AROUND TOWN — Levitt season is still on, free music on the lawn at Falls Park every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday all summer. This week it is the Fourth of July run. Navy Band Northwest on Thursday the 2nd, local Americana favorite East of Westreville (with guest fiddler Kenny Putnam) on Friday the 3rd, and Broadway and jazz vocalist Andrea Ross and Her Big Band closing it out Saturday the 4th. Music starts at 7. Bring a blanket.
SPOTTED — The Tilted Trophy is new to town on West 26th Street. This sports bar brings a fun twist with 80s arcade games and cold drinks; however, they are bringing in some mixed reviews on their opening days. Give it a try and see what you think!
CREW SPOTLIGHT — The Falls... but mainly the fact that it has everything a big city has, but a smaller town feel... but not a small town feel where your neighbors know what you did during the day before you got home. lol And it has all four seasons, which is a huge plus in my book! ~ Chloe

Fourth of July Party | July 2nd Enjoy water games and themed aquatic challenges. On land, guests can take part in family-friendly activities such as relay races, arts and crafts, lawn games, and patriotic music at Westside Recreation Center.
Red, White, and Blue Bash | July 3rd Classic backyard games, lighthearted competition, and a festive atmosphere at Lloyd Landing as we gear up for Independence Day.
Independence Day Parade | July 4th After two years of absence, the 4th Parade is BACK! Floats start moving at 10. It will be a whole festival downtown complete with music, food trucks, and activities.
4th of July Bike Parade | July 4th Decorate your bike, and head to the Big Sioux Recreation Area to join in on the bike parade around the campground!
Firework Show | July 4th Gates open at the Fairgrounds at 5:30pm. Every guest receives a free flag to help celebrate 250 years of America. The Sioux Falls Municipal Band starts music at 6:00pm. Ringneck College Softball Tournament | July 3rd This tournament is a unique opportunity to get college coaches attention, so the stakes are high. Tournament begins at 1:30pm
Dart Tournament | July 6th Check out a day full of fun and competition for a good cause. There will also be a hotdog eating contest, and live music.
