Your Weekly Glimpse Into Sioux Falls Life

Dear friend,

Welcome to another week of All Things Sioux Falls. We’ve been quite ill this weekend and are finally recovering so I'm writing this from the couch whilst lying down because I gotta sleep.

It’s crazy how fast a bug gets you down in the Midwest. All of a sudden, we catch something and try to figure out where it started.

Anyways, to the hundreds of new readers that came in this weekend, thank you for joining the crew. Very glad you’re here :)

Enjoy this issue. And Happy New Month. We’re in the final stretch now.

See you out there,

Godwin

☠️The Quinn Estate: A Murder Mystery Dinner at Minervas

A long time ago, F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote in The Great Gatsby, "I like large parties. They're so intimate. At small parties there isn't any privacy."

Well friends, I'm not sure there'll be any privacy at the Quinn Estate. Lots of drama, I can assure you of that.

There are 2 seats left, so book your seat today if you love drama and the thrill of solving a murder.

[ The Falls Report]

THE SKY - Mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
SUNSET - The sunsets are getting earlier here in South Dakota. You can expect a sunset at 8:03pm.
AT THE FALLS - Fill your Thursday afternoon with the power of being seen - an engaging panel discussion exploring the importance of seeing people with disabilities and rare diseases represented in media, leadership, fashion, and business.
AROUND TOWN - Nelson Park hosts Life Light, a free festival filled with powerful music, inspiring moments, and lots of family fun. Expect local food trucks, vendors, and inflatables!
SPOTTED - Combine is a trendy men's and women's boutique located downtown. Grab a baked good from Breadico next door and explore.
CREW SPOTLIGHT - One thing Christine loves about Sioux Falls that most people overlook is the fact that we have a lot of parks.
What's one thing you love about Sioux Falls that you believe most people overlook?

WELCOME TO SIOUXPERCON

But before we dive in, thanks to everyone who reached out about the world’s biggest satellite photo album in Garretson. Glad you loved it. We have more fun hidden gems coming your way.

Now, Sioux Falls has something fun, something big coming September 25 through 27 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. It’s SiouxperCon, the largest fully nonprofit pop culture event in the Midwest.

Every year, the event pulls in 10,000+ attendees, raises $50,000+ for charity, and drives $1.75 million in economic impact.
WHOOOO.

The whole thing is built to promote literacy, STEAM education, and valuable life skills in a safe, inclusive environment, and it’s meant to engage everybody.

There’ll also be celebrity guests, over 100 artists and vendors, plus a cosplay contest (I’d like to enter as Paul Atreides, please), and a whole lot more.

And SiouxperCon wants to do something for you. They’re giving away a ticket. Yup. One ticket.

Two ways to enter.

Reply to this email with the answer to this: what percentage of SiouxperCon’s proceeds goes to charity? That’s two entries.

Or head to Instagram and enter there. That’s one entry.
Entries close Monday the 7th. Winner announced next issue.

Jessica has been working to heal clients for almost 15 years.
First session is $20 off.

Dinner Club: Thursday, September 24th ~ Push yourself out of your comfort zone, try out some new restaurants downtown, and enjoy an electric after party! We can't wait to meet some of you at our next Dinner Club!
