One of you will be the murderer but before we get to that, can you believe April is almost over? Two more weeks and we'll be basking in the sunlight and planning all the fun events possible. I'll be worrying about snakes in my yard because every year, there just has to be a snake here or there.
Before you dive right in, I'd like to highlight a couple of things we have going on.
One, the business directory! If you're a business owner, be sure to add your business to our directory today.
Two, the flavor guide, that is, our restaurant guide for Sioux Falls. The city has a lot of great flavors and our guide gives you the 411 on some of the hottest spots and hidden gems in the area. There's a flavor for everyone inside the flavor guide.
The next Dinner Club is set, and there is a seat for you to mingle, meet new people, and maybe even make a friend or two!
On the 14th, we'll have our ATSF Dinner Club and then on the 28th, we have cooked up something super special - ATSF Murder Mystery Dinner.
This dinner will be themed in the 80s, so come dressed in your rad blast from the past attire. Will you be a victim? An accomplice? Or perhaps, you will be the murderer...
Book your seat for the 14th (ATSF Dinner Club) or the 28th (Murder Mystery Dinner Club), and spend your evening making meaningful connections.
Few more days until the Cliff Avenue Greenhouse Annual Garden Party! If you're looking for an evening of fun, making new friends, and learning about plants and gardening especially as the weather warms up, be sure to stop by on Thursday! The party begins at 5pm and ends at 8pm.
What's waiting for you at the Annual Garden Party:
🌸 Special discounts on gourmet food, strawberry, rhubarb, herbs, pansies, onions, and asparagus plants, Sol Soils, and succulents. One evening only.
🌸 Giveaways every 30 minutes. Stay a while. You might just leave with more than you came with.

🌸 Sip while you shop. Honestly, the only way to do it.
Blossoming soon, and full of wonder. One of the most iconic parks in Sioux Falls is Terrace Park. This park has been in the Sioux Falls history books for years. The start of the build began in 1917, and ideas driven by local community members shaped the park we know today throughout several years.
Seven years ago, before I officially lived in Sioux Falls, I was visiting Emma, my then girlfriend, and now my wife and other half of ATSF. She had always wanted to go on a picnic, and she thought the Japanese Gardens was the perfect spot. I remember thinking one thing: "This is actually quite peaceful. It still is.
The gardens were originally created in the late 1920s by a park caretaker named Joe Maddox who studied Japanese landscape design and believed the style would bring something beautiful and different to Terrace Park. He was right.
Pagodas, koi, lanterns, a pond, waterfalls, and over 200 trees line the path to Covell Lake.
It is completely free, almost always quiet, and genuinely transportive in a way that is hard to explain until you are standing in it.
The stunning Cherry Blossom Trees bloom here in May, and that is your chance to experience the magic in person, so mark your calendars!
