Good Morning Sioux Falls Crew,
What a marvelous rainy day to have you here. This past week, Emma and I decide to tackle our newsletter design and thus we are here with something new for you. Take a look at our first issue , 20th issue, 30th Issue and then come back to this and let us know what your thoughts are.
In the city, I tried a new place - Hernandez's Tacos! There, I got their Torpedo and by the time I was done eating, boy was I filled. If you love tacos, trust me, you will love Hernandez's Tacos. I finished it quite fast and I had no time to take a picture.
Before we continue with issue 37, there are 2 things I'd love to discuss.
1. If you'd like to contribute a story, or something unique to the newsletter, reply to this email.
2 I drove by Ziggi's last week, got my Strawberry Banana smoothie and decided to get 4 gift cards on a whim. I've been thinking about what to do with these gift cards so I've decided to give them away this month. The first two people to answer the Trivia Question below correctly will be announced on next week's issue and handed a gift card. We'll figure out another way to giveaway the last two gift cards before the end of the month.
Now let's get into it. In Today's Expose:
- Tidal Arc of Dream Tale
- Breast Cancer Awareness Month
- Sonography Studio
- Olive, the sassy puppy
- Lots of adventures for you.
Tidal, Take It Away!
~ Godwin
Trivia | First Two People To Reply The Correct Answer Get a $5 Ziggi's Giftcard: ⁉️ What 1903 building, made from the city’s trademark quartzite stone, was one of the few to feature classical Greek-inspired architectural details?
Reply to this email with your answer + your name :)

Oh Gee, Hiya Friends!
It is beautiful, rainy day in Sioux Falls, and I have spent my time at The Arc of Dreams. Have you ever been by the Arc? Man, I am having a great time letting my surroundings inspire me. Through research, I have found that the Arc of Dreams was designed intentionally to resemble beautiful Prairie Blades of Grass - a tribute to the past, present, and future. Now THAT is what dreams are made of.
While here, I stumbled upon a dedication sign up, and I would like to share with you what I found. The Arc of Dreams will be using light to encourage hundreds of locals, who have felt the grief of Pregnancy and Infant Loss.
This Wednesday, October 15th you may notice the Arc displaying vibrant blue and pink color, these colors represent the past, present, and future of the Oaklyn Foundation and their mission.
You can support in many ways by visiting the Oaklyn Foundation Website today.
That is all for my tale today friends! Enjoy what Emma has written below. More ways to support your neighbors.
You may have noticed an influx of pink ribbons in/around Sioux Falls. This is because October is a month to encourage, celebrate, and remember local women who have been impacted by Breast Cancer. And a few Sioux Falls businesses are showing their dedication to their communities, one cup at a time.
"We like our coffee strong, and Women even stronger"
The Human Bean is dedicating October 17th as Cup For A Cure, where 100% of proceeds go to patients currently receiving treatment at Avera Cancer Institute.
Drive Thru Ziggi's Coffee October 15th-19th and round up your order or donate- all proceeds raised will be directed to Sanford Health. Get involved this October and turn that morning cup of coffee into something much more.

Scary Good Health Tips:
Sioux Falls Edition
This week is action-packed with fun, fall events and getting into the Halloween Spirit, so what better way to counteract all that candy intake, than with some scary good health regimens you can pick up, right here in Sioux Falls!
1- Bone Broth
From The Pomegranate Market
Have you heard the hype about Bone Broth? While it is not a quick fix, and may not cure all of your problems, bone broth is essentially liquid gold. Supports gut health, joint mobility, strengthens hair, skin, and nails
Pro Tip: Mix warm bone broth with salt, turmeric, or lemon and a drizzle of olive or coconut oil for extra richness
*Also check out our friends at, OsteoStrong for more bone and joint support
2- Let Your Freak Flag Fly
With Big Sioux Burger
Life is too short to take yourself seriously all of the time. What better way to keep yourself feeling young and free than to belt your heart out to "Sweet Caroline" at Karaoke Night? And as my high school drama teacher used to say, "Do not care what they say, and let your Freak Flag Fly"!
3- Namaste The Spirits Away
At Joy Collective Studios
Designate some time out of each day to moving your body. While there are so many fun, intentional ways to get your body moving, yoga is a great way to build strength, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. Start with a class right here locally!
