Dear friend, welcome back to another issue of All Things Sioux Falls. I hope your weekend treated you well.
Mine was a good one. We went horseback riding down in Freeman to celebrate my birthday and then soaked up that beautiful weather on Sunday. Before you dive right into this issue, with a new year starting for me, I want to say thank you for being a crew member. Writing weekly is one of my fav things to do, and I always look forward to Tuesday.
I also spent some time this weekend getting a couple things figured out for dinner club, which will be on the east side of Sioux Falls this time around. I hope to meet you there.
After last week’s issue, a few crew members called out their fav spots for the ring leaders. Crew member Kristi vowed that Blarney Stone’s rings deserve the #1 spot, and crew member Sarah says Geo’s Hamburger Shoppe over in the Gaslight Lounge is more than excellent.
Try those places out and let me know your thoughts. Alright, some of the best places to shop are in this issue, plus a fluffy pup you’ll love. See you out there,
Three weeks out. The character cards are written. In fact, I’m writing a backstory now into the lives of the thirty characters and might end up publishing a few. Every character is someone’s least fav relative. In short, lots of DRAMA at Minervas, just like we had at the last one. And here’s what I keep thinking about: the thirty guests are going to walk into Minervas as strangers and spend the evening accusing each other of murder over a three course dinner plus chocolate cake.
Someone is going to get accused by their own spouse. It’s happened before. September 12th, 5 to 8 PM at Minervas downtown. $125 a guest, dinner included.

Like I said up top, this one’s on the east side.
Here’s the thing I enjoyed about the last one. People talked all night. Our bartender at the afterparty was fantastic. Lots of new friends and I loved it.
If you’ve never done one, here’s how it works: you take a short quiz, we match you with five people, and we don’t tell you the restaurant till Thursday morning. Some come solo, some bring a friend or a spouse. Dinner is Thursday at 6:30 PM. Sign-ups close tonight at 6:30 PM.
605 Petals & Pines: 605 Petals & Pines began on our family’s Sioux Falls acreage, where old horse pastures became flower rows. Till the end of summer, we’re offering custom orders, DIY buckets and private events. Haven Care Solutions: Over Tuesday morning coffee, the APRN, CRNA, or CNM in your house is bracing for another chaotic week. They give everything to patients — but credentialing stress follows them home. Missing transcripts. Applications stuck in a queue. HavenCare Solutions breaks that cycle, matching local nurses with one dedicated specialist so the person you love isn’t doing it alone. Secure their specialist
Hartford Farmers Market:Bring your creative side to the market this month for 605 Art Bus, a unique experience that you can truly make your own. Enjoy great music by Kevin Pike and yummy food by The Corndog Co, 605 Island Guy, and The Good Stuff Coffee Truck.
Rapid Pain and Performance: Okay Crew, real talk: how many of you have a "that's just my bad shoulder" or "yeah my back does that sometimes" excuse you've been quietly living with for like... three years?
Well, good news, Rapid Pain and Performance right here in Sioux Falls might be about to ruin your excuse to skip yard work. She specializes in a technique called RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (NFR), which is basically a very polite conversation with your nervous system that convinces it to stop guarding old injuries.
"A big friendly fluff ball. He loves to cuddle, hang out with his friends at the dog park, and walk the trails whenever he can."
The paw-parazzi is here! Submit your pet's picture for a chance to be featured as "Pet Of The Week" and win a $20 Gift Card to Sew Doggy Boutique!
🐾 Help Local Animals - Almost Home Canine Rescue is in need of your help. This rescue is 100% volunteer run. Not a single person on the team gets paid to be there, so why do they do it? For the animals. What I love most about this rescue is how transparent they are. The Director, Katie, put out a statement last week that with only a little over $1,000 in the bank, they are not able to pay insurance, spay/neuter costs, and routine vet bills. EVERY dollar matters. If an animal from our newsletter has ever touched your heart, consider donating to this local rescue to keep pets in Sioux Falls safe.
*Did you adopt an animal you saw through this newsletter? Let us know your story and let us send you a special thank you for helping local pets!

❤️ Give Back - The Banquet is in need of Era Brand Liquid High Efficiency Laundry Detergent. The cheapest place I found is at Fleet Farm If you do not have extra money to spare, but perhaps time, consider signing up for Project: SOS 2026 - A backpack program for local families.
