Where the skeletons are posing this year

Your Weekly Glimpse Into Sioux Falls Life

Dear friend,

There's something about the week that makes fellow feel like a kid again. I get to spend some time with a few of you, and I can hardly wait.

It's the last week of October, too, and the whole town is about to turn into a storybook. Ghost and ghouls will peek out of front yards, porches will glow, and around every corner you're liable to bump into a superhero or a villain or two.

If you're dressing up this year, send us a picture. We'll pick a few favs to share in the newsletter.

Oh, and before you read any further, a friendly warning: the clocks fall back this weekend. Spend it doing something fun :)) We certainly will. It's Em's birthday on Saturday, and our family has big plans.

Every empire ends the same way: with the man who built it wondering which of the people closest to him is waiting for the chance to end it faster.

I have stopped wondering which is why I am calling you all to one room, to say it aloud: that someone means to kill me.

Come masked.
