Good Morning Sioux Falls Crew,
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! The holiday season can be overwhelming, but hey! We made it! It's been a long weekend of feeling sick for me. My days have been filled with lots of shivering and hot tea, not sure exactly what I have but I keep on going as it is almost gone.
This is the last issue of 2025!!! I seriously can't believe how fast the year has gone. And I just how to say that I am extra grateful this year for the opportunity to connect with all of you!
In just a few days, we will enter a whole new year, and with every new year, there are new beginnings.
Emma and I have so many ideas explore, and we are excited to get your input, meet some of you, and explore Sioux Falls even further. Our goal is to deliver genuine content. Deliver real connections. And deliver the opportunity to explore Sioux Falls through a whole new lens, whether you have lived here for 50 years - or you just moved here.
Sioux Falls has a TON to offer, and we have just hit the tip of the ice burg.

Hiya Friends,
The snow fell this weekend but instead of cozying up and hibernating, I decided to explore as I must. This time however, I travelled to Lake Lorraine to enjoy a nice burger while looking out at the (frozen) lake.
Where did I go?
Well, I went to Ranch & Roost. Getting inside, I took a look at the menu on the wall and hurried to decide what to eat. A gentleman smiled (yes, at this otter...he smiled) and I placed my order as an otter would, the Mushroom Swiss Burger. While I waited for the yummy food to come up, I noticed an open space behind me and walked to my seat.
Believe it or not, the inside of Ranch & Roost is connected to a Meadery! I was memorized so I decided to check things out. The seats made me feel like I was in a different world, no tv's, no distractions.
Yes! I felt like I was wearing fur, ready to take out an axe while drinking.
After I heard "Order for Tidal" I got my food from the gentleman and sat down to eat. HMMMM, it was SO delicious. The fries were crispy and plentiful, fried in authentic beef tallow, you just can NOT beat this flavor. And the burger, made from locally sourced farms was piled with savory mushrooms that kept my mouth salivating after every bite. Just thinking about the burger again makes me want to dial DoorDash, however, sending a driver out in this weather would be cruel
