For us, so far, the new year has brought lots of coughs, and runny noses, visits to the clinic but hey. It can only go up from here. Kiddos are feeling better which is great.
The idea of a whole new year is exciting! New beginnings, new opportunities, new ideas and connections. I have a lot of new ideas that I will be implementing this year to make this world that is All Things Sioux Falls a great world for you, and as always, I will be presenting those ideas to grab your input in the upcoming weeks :))

Hiya Friends,
It’s a new year, and I’m feeling like a fresh version of myself. Last weekend I got to tag along to a dress fitting for a dear friend at the Bridal Gallery. You can see the Gallery from the interstate, but to get into the parking lot, it is a bit tucked away. When I found my way, and walked my paws through the door, I was instantly distracted by all the sparkle and detail. The craftsmanship on the dresses is insane, I can't even imagine how long it actually takes to craft one of these pieces, every stich, every sparkle, every hem - you can tell how much care goes into each gown. The staff were just as lovely. Everyone was smiling, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
I might be biased, but when my friend stepped out in her dress, it was hands down the most beautiful one in the shop. The smile on her face said everything. I almost shed a tiny otter tear 🦦
On our way out, we almost got into a tussle about where to eat. It was barely 11, so many places were just starting to open. We decided on Chevys.
I loved the environment they’ve created there. The decor, the music, the drink options. Everything works together like a well balanced ecosystem, supporting a cohesive meal experience.
I spent an unreasonable amount of time studying the menu before playing it safe with the chicken fajitas, which arrived sizzling. Not metaphorically. For Real.
But the real showstopper, the unsung hero of the plate, was the corn hash.
I know, I know, you either love it or hate it, but the sweetness perfectly elevates the savory entrée and functions as an excellent palate cleanser. After, the Saturday traffic was getting a little nuts, so I headed back to my warm den. Now, take a walk through the Bulletin Boardwalk :))
